A brand without a style guide is a brand that will drift. Colors shift. Fonts multiply. Visual identity dissolves across team members and campaigns. A style guide is the immune system of a brand — and Lovart’s **Brand Kit** makes it automatic.
This guide covers how to build a complete brand style guide with AI, then enforce it across every image, video, and mockup your team produces.
Step 1: Define Your Color DNA
Colors are the most immediate and memorable aspect of visual identity. Define them once, exactly, with hex codes — not with descriptive words.
Primary palette (3-5 colors):
Enter each as a hex code in Lovart’s Brand Kit. For best results, assign semantic roles: background color, text color, accent color. This tells the Design Agent which color goes where in generated compositions.
Test your palette: Generate *”geometric composition using Brand Kit colors, abstract shapes.”* If the colors harmonize, your palette works. If something clashes, adjust the offending hex.
Step 2: Lock Your Typography
Typography communicates personality before anyone reads a word. Define your type hierarchy:
In the Brand Kit typography tab, select your fonts and weight hierarchy. The Design Agent applies these to any image containing generated text.
Step 3: Upload Visual References
This is the step that separates “consistent color palette” from “consistent visual identity.” Upload 3-5 reference images that capture your brand’s aesthetic sensibility:
The Design Agent extracts a visual style fingerprint from these references. A fitness brand’s references (high contrast, dynamic angles, sweat and motion) produce different outputs than a skincare brand’s (soft, diffused, serene, clean) — even with identical text prompts.
Step 4: Test Across Formats
A palette that works on a dark website background might fail on a light social media post. Test your Brand Kit across:
Generate each. If colors or typography break down in any format, adjust the palette or add more reference images to cover the gap.
Step 5: Share With Your Team
Your Brand Kit is not complete until your team is using it. Copy the share link from Brand Kit settings. Send to designers, marketers, social media managers. When they open it, their ChatCanvas inherits your brand rules. Every image they generate is on-brand — automatically.
For agencies managing multiple clients, create a separate Brand Kit for each account. Switch between them in the dropdown without leaving the workspace. For a deeper guide on setup and configuration, see our [Brand Kit setup best practice](/blog/brand-kit-setup-5-minutes-lovart-best-practice).
